Antique Beaded Purse Victorian Edwardian Purse Steel Cut Beads Fringed Round with Chatelaine Clip

Round silver purse from the Victorian or Edwardian period. Beaded with tiny
French cut steel beads. The bottom had looped fringe all around it. This is
worn now and could be restored or removed. Lovely leaf motif ornate metal frame
with acorn snap closure at the top. Chain handle with fancy chatelaine clip
decoration. The metal may be German or nickel silver. Interior is soft leather
possibly deerskin with a small slit pocket. It would make a lovely display
piece or with just a bit of love a usable purse.

- condition - bottom fringe is apart and missing beads as shown. I will
include all the tiny beads I can find. The purse has been stored for years in
the bottom of a box. The metal is rough to touch and I have not tried polishing
it. The top chatelaine is broken. The front and back beads all appear intact
for the most part. Otherwise clean. Sold as is. The beads have a lovely sparkle
to them.
